As many of you already know and others are about to discover, our forest cabins are not only surrounded by trees, our large estate includes 3 hectares of Albariño grape vineyards with the Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin.
With the arrival of September, not only does the month of “new beginnings” and “returns to routines” arrive, for us the most exciting month of the year arrives. Can you guess why?
EXACT! The time of the harvest arrives, it is time to check and taste the result of a year of care, pampering and treatments that we have applied with so much love for a whole year.
We don’t know what the weather has been like in your cities and towns, but in our little village this year has been crazy. Storms in April, very high temperatures in June and July and an August that has given us little respite in terms of rain, but even so we are very proud of our harvest.
This is going to be the first year that we harvest in our “cabin farm” and we cannot be more expectant to see that all our efforts have been worth it in terms of quality.
Here we show you some plump grapes with a yellow color and an acid point, perfect for creating a fresh and tasty Albariño that will soon be released.
